Synopsis: L. crispatus CTV-05 appears to be safe and well tolerated when given as a vaginal suppository to healthy women with a history of recurrent UTI. Mild to moderate side effects related to suppository use occur but do not affect compliance. L. crispatus CTV-05 may cause mild asymptomatic inflammation of the lower urinary tract.
